Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Doctor, with certification by AMB - Associação Médica Brasileira. Member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, International FIPP (Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice), WIP (World Institute of Pain). He was president of the Latin American chapter of WIP (2007-2010), secretary of the chapter (2011-2013) and current president of the recently authorized Brazilian chapter since 2013. Co-founder of the Brazilian Society of Interventional Pain Medicine (SOBRAMID) And first President of the entity. Scientific Director of the Interventional Pain Treatment Committee of SBED (Brazilian Society for the Study of Pain). He is a member of the pain teams of the Wilson Mello Institute in Campinas and the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein in São Paulo.

Member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, international FIPP-WIP (Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice by the World Institute of Pain). He was a member of the Pain Department of the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, president of the Latin American chapter of WIP (2011-2013), is the current co-chair of the Brazilian chapter and a member of the WIP examiners committee in evaluations for degrees in Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine. One of the Coordinators of SBED's Interventional Techniques Committee. Co-founder of the Brazilian Society of Interventional Pain Medicine (SOBRAMID). Dra. Andrea Trescot, MD, FIPP

Dra. Andrea Trescot, MD, FIPP

She was the president of ASIPP, a professor at the University of Washington, Seattle, and director of fellowship programs in pain at the universities of Washington and Florida. He graduated from Medical University of South Carolina, did internship and residency in anesthesiology at Bethesda Naval Hospital and fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at the National Children's Medical Center in Washington DC. She has obtained another fellowship (FIPP) from the World Pain Institute (WIP) and is a WIP examiner. Dr. Trescot is certified by the American Medical Association (AMA) in anesthesiology, pain medicine, interventional pain medicine and intensive care. He was president of the Florida Pain Interventional Society of Physicians, chairman of the Florida Academy of Pain Medicine, and president of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Before moving to the academic career, she was director of pain clinic for 20 years. He resumed his office work in 2011.
